2012 John Forrest Collection Pinot Noir Bannockburn - Central Otago
95 Points Bob Campbell - "Typically ripe Bannockburn Pinot Noir with plum, dark cherry, chocolate, liquorice and spicy oak flavours. Quite an opulent style, with sweet fruit gently restrained by fine, ripe tannins. Delicious now but should age well"

2012 John Forrest Collection Pinot Noir Waitaki Valley - North Otago
95 Points Bob Campbell - "Subtle, succulent Pinot Noir with red cherry, liquorice, raspberry, mineral and violet flavours. Elegant, supple wine in an appealing and accessible style. Nice purity and with an impressively lingering finish. Should age well."

2011 John Forrest Collection Chardonnay Wairau Valley - Marlborough
95 Points Bob Campbell - "Mellow, toasty Chardonnay with mineral, citrus, ginger nut biscuit and hazelnut flavours. Nicely structured with a silken texture and lengthy finish. Stylish wine with a distinctive character of its own."

2012 John Forrest Collection Chardonnay Waitaki Valley - North Otago
Fermented and aged in seasoned French oak barrels gives a delicate fragrant bouquet of white flowers and herbs following through to nutty, brioche undertones. A powerful weighty wine with refined citrus flavours, buttery, creamy and toasty on the palate with a strong “chalky” mineral backbone.

2013 John Forrest Collection Sauvignon Blanc - Wairau Valley - Marlborough
Hand-selected grapes from my oldest vines and stoniest sites in the Wairau River Valley - coaxing from this unyielding river stone terroir its own individual expression of Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is only made in the best vintages. Hand-selected bunches, from low yielding vines (5 - 6 tonne/Ha) were whole bunch pressed and the juice either cold settled for a long slow fermentation in tank or directly placed in old oak barriques for “wild” natural fermentation and extended yeast lees aging, lasting 10 months, prior to final preparation for bottling. Minimalistic winemaking to allow the unique terroir to speak directly to you.

2012 John Forrest Collection Pinot Gris - Waitaki Valley - North Otago
Alluring pear, stonefruit and spice aromas, interwoven with aromatic herbs and a distinct “chalky” minerality. Complex, concentrated and superbly textured palate framed by fine acidity that leads to a dry savoury finish. Truly exceptional expression of Pinot Gris, aging really well.
