We have put together a special bubbles offer for you; the perfect wines to spark your festive celebrations!

Here at Forrest we proudly produce two Methode Tradionnelle wines, and yes they are a slight self-indulgence as we mainly produce them for the team here at Forrest and our Wine Club to enjoy over the festive season with family and friends. Both wines are traditionally bottle fermented and aged on yeast lees for over 30 months before going through the classic disgorging process and being capped with the innovative Zork closure – which means 100% consistent wine quality while retaining the traditional pop and ceremony of opening a great sparkling.

There are 2 sparkling specials on offer, either 1 bottle each of Brigid and Beth or 3 bottles of each, another perfect gift for yourself or family this holiday season. 

2010 Bubbles for Brigid

Our Bubbles for Brigid Methode Traditionnelle was first produced by John as a surprise for wife Brigid and is the perfect wine to celebrate Christmas Eve with the family, as an aperitif before your Christmas dinner feast or to see in the New Year. With Grapefruit and apple aromas plus pleasant yeasty hints of fresh baked bread, it is lively yet delicate on the palate, with a delicious creamy texture, crisp and refreshing; yet with a lingering dry finish. A wine that shows New Zealand's ability to make world class sparkling wine.

2010 Bubbles for Beth

Our Bubbles for Beth Metohde Traditionnelle is a unique sparkling red wine made originally to celebrate the graduation of my daughter great Beth with her Masters in Oenology. To our knowledge we are the only producer of this style in New Zealand. We believe it is such an exciting wine, brilliant for brunch with smokey bacon or that lazy late lunch with glazed ham! Dark crimson red in colour it erupts from the bottle smelling of summer fruits - raspberry, boysenberry, cherry and that divine Syrah cracked pepper spicy aroma. Its lively and deliciously fruity in the mouth with a crisp refreshing finish
