Fruit sourced from three of our vineyards, 45% clone 15 Brancott Valley crushed stone and older clay soil, 40% clone 95 from our Gibson Creek, stony alluvial soils and 15% Mendoza clone from a sandy Wairau Valley site; all with very low yields. This combination of Wairau Valley’s stony souls, together with Marlborough’s long ripening period enhance Chardonnay’s classic late summer -fruit flavours and fine natural acidity. Aromas of lemon, peach, oat biscuit, toffee apple , toasted almonds, freshly ground spice and subtle nutty oak lead to a rich, weighty palate balanced with a seamless acidity, ensuring longevity.
