The Doctors' 9.5 Sauvignon Blanc 2011
Blackcurrant, lime and passion fruit aromas abound on the nose of this appealing wine. Punchy, ripe and crisp on the palate with impressive richness, body and a refreshing finish.
A modest 9.5% alcohol, yet so drinkable, for lunchtime or anytime.
The Doctors' Riesling 2011
Our fifth and, I feel, best yet Doctors’ Riesling shows those signature lime sherbet, granny smith apple and mandarin flavours make an appealing wine. On the palate aromas of
citrus, apricots & Asian spice, lovely fruit sweetness, balanced by fine acidity; the wines naturally lower alcohol, 8.9%, ensure each mouthful is a refreshing delicious
The Doctors' Gruner Veltliner 2011
Our 2011 Grüner Veltliner is our second harvest of this variety and has a lovely intensity of flavour, lively acidity and shows further promise for this variety in Marlborough.
Flavours of greengage plum, lemon thyme, grapefruit and white pepper nose. Floral notes of spring flowers and citrus sorbet and just a hint of coconut abounds on the palate. It
finishes, round and textured but remains dry, refreshing; the flavours linger in the palate.
The Doctors' Arneis 2011
Our fourth Arneis abounds on the nose with pears, white flower, fennel and fresh herbs – sage, thyme and rosemary flavours. The palate shows stonefruit and dried herb aromas,
textured, minerally and with that classic Arneis dry finish. A different and alluring wine that shows real potential in Marlborough’s cooler climate and the classic seafoods of the
region – green lip mussels.
The Doctors' Remedy 2006
Lemon – straw hued in colour, it erupts from the bottle with the finest of bubbles, inviting, citrus flavoured, white flower scented and brown bread yeast aromas. It’s lively
on the palate, smooth, creamy and rich, yet delicate, with fresh acidity, balanced fruit sweetness and a long finish.
The Doctors' Bubbles for Beth 2006
Deep carmine red hued in colour, it erupts in the glass with tiny bubbles, and inviting fresh boysenberry, cassis, blackcurrant and cracked pepper aromas. It’s lively on the
palate, velvety smooth, creamy and rich with a crisp, refreshing finish.
The Doctors Noble Chenin Blanc 2011
This botrytis-affected Chenin Blanc has aromas of golden delicious apples, sugared figs and butterscotch followed by a sweet, rich crème brulee palate concluding in a lingering
yet crisp finish. A highly memorable wine.
