2013 Forrest Chenin Blanc

Chenin Blanc Profile

One the world's noble grape varietal whose spiritual home is the Loire Valley, France. It is very vigorous in the vineyard and it requires constant supervision to keep yields in check. Has great aromatics, fresh acidity, palate weight, longevity and is food friendly!

Tasting Notes

Aromas of sage leaf, citrus, pithy grany smith apples, dry straw, lanoline and stone fruits. The palate is reminiscent of Rose‰۪s lime cordial, nashi pear and oaten biscuit with great length and balance.

Cameron Douglas FMCG Aromatics Tasting 2015 -4 Stars

A charming bouquet with aromas of soft, sweet, fresh and baked apple, white floral and lots of mineral stony soil suggestions. On the palate dry, fresh, lively and crisp with plenty of apple fruit flavours and citrus too; medium+ to high acidity, lots of energy in the finish which is lengthy.
